Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead presales solutioning for Microsoft Fabric opportunities, including architecture proposals, effort estimation, solution demos, and client workshops.
  • •Design end-to-end Microsoft Fabric solution architectures, including OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Fabric Data Factory, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI semantic/reporting layers.
  • •Define data platform strategy, target-state architecture, and migration roadmaps with client stakeholders.
  • •Provide delivery technical leadership as needed, covering solution design, architecture governance, design reviews, performance and cost optimization, and production readiness.
  • •Establish data architecture standards and governance models using Purview and Fabric, including data lineage and CI/CD practices; mentor engineers and contribute accelerators/IP.

Key Requirements

  • •12–15 years in data engineering/architecture roles, with the most recent chapter as a Data Architect actively implementing Microsoft Fabric-based solutions.
  • •Hands-on architecture experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Fabric Data Factory pipelines/dataflows, Spark notebooks, and Power BI integration.
  • •Strong modern data estate architecture skills, including data lake/warehouse patterns and migration experience from legacy platforms to Fabric.
  • •Solid grounding in Azure data ecosystem services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, and Azure SQL.
  • •Experience with data governance and security frameworks using Microsoft Purview, including role-based access, data lineage, and enterprise compliance considerations.
