Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production schedules to ensure timely delivery of compounded products, monitoring progress and addressing bottlenecks.
  • •Supervise lab managers, pharmacy tech leads, and pharmacy technicians; set expectations, hold team meetings and 1:1s, and track performance.
  • •Evaluate and improve compounding processes using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • •Track KPIs for safety, quality, and productivity and generate regular reports to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • •Ensure compounding activities comply with USP, FDA, OSHA, and other regulations; conduct safety training/audits and enforce safety protocols, including inventory and material handling.

Key Requirements

  • •5–7+ years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical compounding, manufacturing, fulfillment, or a related regulated operational environment.
  • •5+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced, regulated setting.
  • •2+ years of experience implementing and maintaining OSHA safety standards.
  • •Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and operational reporting tools.
  • •Strong knowledge of USP 795, USP 800, cGMP, OSHA, and FDA regulations, plus Lean/Six Sigma/5S continuous improvement methods.
