Software Engineer - Applied Machine Learning, Engine

Build and maintain massively distributed recommendation systems as part of ByteDance’s Applied Machine Learning team. Design, develop, and optimize computer and network software, including testing and validation procedures. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate hardware/software systems and define performance requirements. Work with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure using Python or Golang, alongside databases, messaging, DevOps tooling, and optional machine-learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
