Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to Public and Private sector clients and lead end-to-end procurement services on major projects or programmes.
  • •Lead and develop the procurement services provided by Turner & Townsend and manage a team to achieve successful outcomes for clients.
  • •Drive business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition, including bid preparation and work-winning capability.
  • •Support the delivery of team and wider business targets and maintain strong client relationships and deliverables.
  • •Travel opportunities nationally and internationally to service and manage key commissions for blue-chip clients.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in and/or knowledge of regulated procurement, in particular Public Contract Regulations 2015 with an awareness of the Green Paper and potential changes to the public procurement regime.
  • •Leading strategic major procurement projects or programmes for Public and Private sector clients.
  • •A strong background in tender preparation, development and management ideally including negotiation.
  • •Commission, client relationship, and people management
  • •Experience of developing and using various forms of contracts with particular focus on NEC and JCT.
