  • •Evaluate and document severity of deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • •Prepare detailed security and privacy assessment reports with results, findings, and recommendations for team leaders.
  • •Assess controls according to approved assessment plans and execute reassessments after remediation actions.
  • •Assess system-specific and inherited controls as part of the Department’s continuous monitoring strategy and contribute to deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of equivalent professional experience.

  • •Experience assessing security and privacy controls aligned with federal frameworks such as NIST RMF and NIST SP 800-53.
  • •Ability to analyze technical documentation, identify security gaps, and communicate findings clearly in written reports.
  • •Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
