Job Summary

Join Akamai's Product Experience Team as a Product Analyst to translate product usage data into actionable insights for our cloud platform. Collaborate with product, data engineering, and customer experience teams to surface metrics, instrument events, and shape how we build, onboard, and grow. Build dashboards in Pendo/Tableau, analyze funnels and retention, and contribute to analytics standards to improve the customer experience and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with product teams to define what 'good experience' looks like and how to measure it.
•Build and maintain dashboards in tools like Pendo, Tableau, or similar, using data to answer questions and drive our business forward.
•Instrument new product surfaces by working with engineers to define event taxonomies, validate tracking, and ensure data quality.
•Analyze funnels, retention curves, and feature adoption to identify friction points in the customer journey.
•Contribute to our experience metrics framework and help establish analytics standards across the product organization.

Key Requirements

•Analytics experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS or developer-focused product environment.
•Comfortable navigating and working with large datasets.
•Experience with product analytics platforms (Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, FullStory, or equivalent) and understanding of event-based instrumentation and measurement.
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills to convey findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
•Team player who can collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment; experience with cloud infrastructure products or APIs is a plus; familiarity with Python or R is an asset.
