Key Responsibilities

•Develop and manage individualized rehabilitation and return-to-work plans, including functional assessments, workstation adjustments, adapted tasks, and ongoing case follow-up.
•Coordinate complex medical cases and long-duration absences by gathering clinical information, involving specialists when needed, organizing consultation meetings, and removing obstacles to treatment or recovery.
•Work closely with Human Resources, occupational health teams, supervisors, insurers, and healthcare providers to enable a safe, appropriate, and sustainable return to work while ensuring employee medical confidentiality.
•Maintain rigorous medical records management processes, including confidential records, long-term sick leave follow-up, validation of medical certificates, and analysis of absenteeism trends and return-to-work outcomes.
•Act as the primary medical liaison on site with relevant government health authorities and local communities, escalating critical/sensitive/high-risk cases and supporting public health, epidemic preparedness, and workforce health programs.

Key Requirements

•Medical degree with a valid professional registration in Guinea, with good standing in the medical community, plus a postgraduate qualification or strong practical expertise in occupational/family/internal/rehabilitation medicine, disability management, or public health.
•At least 8 years of relevant clinical experience, including significant experience in occupational health, complex case management, rehabilitation, or employee health (mining/construction or remote site experience strongly preferred).
•Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, professional autonomy, and the ability to advocate for employees while strictly respecting confidentiality and ethics requirements.
•Ability to collaborate effectively with medical teams, Human Resources, and operations to balance health, safety, and performance needs.
•Strong capability with structured medical case management, including prioritization, action tracking, and clear compliant documentation, with professional English and French proficiency.
