Key Responsibilities

•Manage import processes, customs declarations, and required documentation for inbound shipments.
•Coordinate with freight forwarders and engage internal/external stakeholders to address claims and compliance matters.
•Maintain accurate records and documentation for customs transactions (e.g., bills of lading, customs documentation, delivery receipts).
•Analyse import processes and logistics to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
•Plan, manage, align, and supervise activities within the area, including managing, developing, and supporting team members or agency workers, while following budget guidance.

Key Requirements

•Supervisory skills managing and developing a team.
•Proficiency in import/export processes, regulations, and multimodal freight operations, with experience in an inbound & customs environment.
•Proficiency in logistics software including WMS, Duty Mgmt, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and related tools.
•Fluent English (written and oral) with the ability to interact with stakeholders in a demanding environment.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams, including Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and Power BI (preferred).
