Job Summary

Lead the architecture of AI-optimized storage and data management for next-generation enterprise infrastructure. Partner with high-profile AI customers to translate workload requirements into comprehensive solution designs across end-to-end AI infrastructure stacks, from frameworks to compute, storage, networking, security, and datacenter deployment. Drive investigations into new fabric and storage platforms, serve as a technical escalation point, and help shape multi-year roadmaps and intellectual property.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the technical leader interfacing with enterprise customers to define architectures and translate workload requirements into solution designs for AI-optimized storage and data management.
•Influence end-to-end AI infrastructure stacks across software frameworks, compute, storage, networking, data security, and datacenter deployment.
•Develop and propose solution configurations, BOMs, and SKUs with Engineering and co-innovate with technology partners.
•Lead investigations into new fabric technologies and storage platforms for large-scale AI deployments; act as a technical escalation point and represent Dell in architecture forums.
•Generate intellectual property and contribute to multi-year technology and product roadmaps with cross-functional inputs.

Salary: USD 263,925 - 341,550

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in storage architecture, data platforms, or large-scale distributed systems; expertise in scale-out file/object storage and parallel filesystems.
•Deep understanding of AI/ML workflows and data pipelines, including training/inference patterns, Vector DB, and KV Cache, plus enterprise cluster deployments.
•Ability to define storage configurations that meet production-grade performance and SLA requirements.
•Excellent communication skills presenting to cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
•Demonstrated experience working with industry vendors to influence next-generation technology design.
