Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop/implement sourcing and cost management strategies for capital equipment and production consumables, collaborating with key internal stakeholders
  • •Understand technical aspects of production equipment to identify opportunities for cost, space, and process optimization
  • •Use data analytics to identify and realize process-related opportunities and improvements
  • •Manage project budgets and Total Cost of Ownership, including funding requests and capital plans
  • •Build relationships across teams and with suppliers to drive consensus, onboard new suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing, or Operations (or a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years; or 11+ years in one or more of the listed areas)
  • •Experience in capital equipment purchases and production consumables
  • •Strong data analytics and ability to identify and execute process improvements
  • •Experience in contract negotiation, budgeting, and cost control including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
