Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead by example on safety and environmental rules, and help keep daily workplace inspections and hazard identification on track.
  • •Install, align, dismantle, assemble, and move stationary industrial machinery and equipment using layout plans, blueprints, and drawings.
  • •Operate cranes/jacks/tractors and other hoisting equipment to position machinery and parts during installation and repairs.
  • •Inspect and troubleshoot machinery for irregularities; maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and PLC-based controls.
  • •Support maintenance through lubrication, seal replacement, cleaning during overhauls, preventative maintenance, tool/equipment upkeep, and coordination via the Maintenance Order System.

Key Requirements

  • •Journeyperson Millwright or 7+ years’ experience in heavy industrial maintenance (e.g., pumps, conveyors, welding, alignment, heavy rigging, compressors, crushers, sag/ball mills).
  • •Ability to work with engineered drawings and blueprints to install, align, take apart, and move machinery/equipment.
  • •Adhere to high safety standards and demonstrate knowledge of environmental risks and hazards.
  • •Capability to operate hoisting/lifting equipment (e.g., cranes, jacks, tractors) for installation, set-up, and repair.
  • •Ability to work shifts (day/afternoon/night) and outdoors in extreme conditions, including labor-intensive work.
