Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to and convey the Life Enrichment philosophy that supports residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality.
  • •Lead and oversee individual and group programs daily, encouraging and tracking resident participation.
  • •Design creative, engaging programs based on residents’ needs and interests.
  • •Plan and maintain a monthly calendar and distribute monthly Life Enrichment schedules to residents.
  • •Manage supplies and oversee the Life Enrichment budget while ensuring programs meet state, federal, and other regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Rec Therapist, COTA, or education and/or experience in teaching or nursing is preferred.
  • •NCCAP (National Certification Council for Activity Professionals) certification is preferred.
  • •Excellent English oral and written communication, plus strong organizational and time management skills.
  • •Minimum of one year working with senior populations is preferred; flexible hours are required.
