Key Responsibilities

  • •Define plant process simulation models for optimization during design and operational phases using machine learning/AI algorithms and reduced/surrogate models.
  • •Explore and test capabilities of commercial software for reducing order modeling (ROM) generation and usage, including ASPEN Hysys, ANSYS Twin Builder, and COMSOL.
  • •Support digital development programs for design and off-design plant optimization.
  • •Collaborate with teams and interns to communicate effectively, identify technical issues, and propose solutions to achieve project goals.
  • •Assist with ongoing projects through research, data analysis, technical support, and contribute to documentation and reports while applying HS&E standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 600 - 1,000 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or other STEM-related or business-related program.
  • •Maintain a GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent) with focus in Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Process, Computational/numerical methods, and Control Systems.
  • •Have strong interest and acquired expertise in tools & SW development/testing, computational/numerical methods, and system modeling by Matlab and Simulink.
  • •Have strong interest and acquired expertise with plant/process/system modeling tools such as Aspen Hysys, Unisim or similar.
  • •Have basic programming skills (e.g., Python) and be fluent in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
