Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently operate a Western Star sleeper cab with a specialized car-hauling trailer.
  • •Load/unload and secure vehicles in accordance with applicable standards.
  • •Complete and accurately document pre and post trip inspections and submit inspection reports.
  • •Operate on assigned routes for extended periods away from home while maintaining accurate driver logs.
  • •Perform simple maintenance tied to inspections and adhere to safety/traffic procedures and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Three-month contracted commitment.
  • •21+ years of age.
  • •1+ year of driving experience at Carvana; OTR driving experience preferred.
  • •Have and maintain a valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card with a clean driving record (no DUIs; limits on at-fault accidents and moving violations).
  • •Ability to pass FMCSA controlled substance tests and safely operate vehicles and trailers in all weather conditions.
