Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a portfolio of complex business, commercial, and bad faith litigation, arbitration, and related disputes.
  • •Develop and execute litigation strategy including early assessment, risk analysis, discovery strategy, motions, settlement posture, trial preparation, and resolution planning.
  • •Select, retain, supervise, and evaluate outside counsel; align performance with matter strategy, budgets, reporting, and company objectives.
  • •Provide business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders and senior leaders on litigation risk, exposure, likely outcomes, settlement options, and strategic alternatives.
  • •Oversee discovery, document preservation and collection, legal holds, witness preparation, subpoenas, expert engagement, mediation/arbitration, trial-related activities, and matter reporting.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor and 7+ years of experience in the Legal area.
  • •Member of the Bar.
  • •Knowledge of NILS, Lexis or Westlaw.
  • •Insurance industry experience (preferred).
  • •Strong organizational and analytical skills with excellent communication (preferred).
