Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and manage small project teams and serve as discipline lead on mid-to-large sized projects.
  • •Provide technical input and direction for studies and design efforts within the electrical discipline.
  • •Present technical solutions to clients and liaise with clients, architects, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of work produced by junior engineers and provide estimates for engineering budget and schedule on large projects.
  • •Contribute to technical proposals, tender queries/returns, tender interviews, site inspection meetings, and lead projects designed in Revit.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Degree educated in electrical or building services engineering or a related discipline, ideally Chartered (or with qualifications leading to Chartered status).
  • •Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical building services design.
  • •Design knowledge for low voltage distribution systems, lighting and emergency lighting, fire detection and alarms, and lighting protection.
  • •Experience using building services engineering software, including Autodesk Revit, and familiarity with BIM design processes.
  • •Strong technical understanding of building services plus the ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and mentor junior engineers.
