Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck systems including electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, diesel steering, engines (gas/diesel), transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and maintain/operate the company-issued service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work on repair orders (RO), upload photos/findings via the company iOS device/TRAIT application, and complete DOT and other required forms accurately.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or 5 years with a different combination).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary for required job duties.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File; safe driving required.
  • •Comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements, including DOT physical/background screening and maintaining a current DOT medical card as required.
