Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as a technical lead or principal engineer on agent, daemon, or systems-level software projects at scale, managing distributed deployments, versioning, and backward compatibility.
  • •Deep knowledge of observability data collection (metrics, logs, traces) and protocols such as OTLP, Prometheus Remote Write, and syslog.
  • •Solid background in Go, with experience building or operating systems where Elastic Agent and Beats are primarily Go-based.
  • •Experience designing management and control planes for distributed software, especially protocol-driven approaches like OpAMP.
  • •Track record leading large, multi-team technical initiatives from ambiguous design space to shipped software.
