Job Summary

You will produce multi-platform news content for the Dallas/Fort Worth Telemundo operation, coordinating with the executive and senior producers to shape live and recorded content across linear, non-linear, web, podcast, social, and digital products. You’ll edit with Edius and Premiere Pro, lead a team of writers and field crews, contribute story ideas, and manage daily coverage decisions while adapting to breaking news and cross-promotional opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Work directly with the Executive Producer and Senior Producers in creating, developing, and implementing linear and non-linear news strategies.
•Produce daily newscasts, live special coverage, and other programs for all platforms; articulate and execute distribution strategy for content and stories.
•Perform editing work in systems like Edius and Premiere Pro.
•Clearly communicate vision to a team of writers, anchors, and field crews to deliver dynamic and accurate stories and segments.
•Develop an understanding of streaming and non-linear products and contribute to them.

Key Requirements

•Fluency in Spanish and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
•A minimum of 2 years of experience as a daily newscast producer.
•Producing skills and strong Spanish news writing experience across multiple platforms, including script writing, news writing, and broadcast/digital production.
•Proven track record of boothing live events and newscasts.
•Intense familiarity and interest in current news events.
