Job Summary

Build and scale analytics pipelines for performance marketing across dozens of ad networks and platforms, working with large-scale raw datasets, partitioning, and BigQuery cost/performance tradeoffs. Ensure timely, accurate reporting within 1–24 hour data freshness windows while handling PII privacy and compliance. Develop dbt transformations with tests and documentation, design resilient data models, and improve monitoring/alerts so data issues are caught before they impact ROAS and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

•Own analytics pipeline performance and reliability for high-volume daily processing across many ad networks and platforms.
•Improve reporting accuracy and freshness while balancing speed vs correctness for marketing stakeholders.
•Handle PII privacy requirements with appropriate processing at each stage of the pipeline.
•Build and maintain dbt transformations with tests/documentation and design scalable data models.
•Create monitoring and alerts to detect event collection failures before they impact campaigns and compliance.

Key Requirements

•Strong SQL skills to write efficient queries over large datasets (millions of rows/day) and understand partitioning, clustering, and query cost in BigQuery.
•Experience with dbt (Dataform is a plus), building and maintaining transformations as code with tests and documentation.
•Data modeling skills to design structures that scale with changing business requirements.
•Attention to detail in the pipeline to detect anomalies in event flows early.
•Ability to work at the intersection of product, marketing, and advertising, understanding how events inform targeting and optimization.
