Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, deploy, and maintain comprehensive security systems that protect Box's corporate infrastructure, workforce, and SaaS environments
  • •Lead the transformation of Box's security architecture toward a fully realized zero-trust model with device trust frameworks and continuous verification
  • •Develop security controls that scale with Box's growth while maintaining operational efficiency and user experience
  • •Pioneer AI-augmented security operations, including LLM-based investigative tooling and automated threat analysis
  • •Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the security engineering team's growth and knowledge sharing

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in corporate/enterprise security engineering (endpoint, network security, cloud security, SaaS security, identity, or a combination)
  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information security or related field
  • •Deep expertise in macOS security with knowledge of Windows and ChromeOS
  • •Experience deploying and operating at scale including device trust/EDR-XDR, ZTNA, IAM/PAM/passwordless authentication, CASB/SSPW and DLP
  • •Experience with security automation using Python, Go, or similar languages and SIEM platforms (Splunk, Elastic, Sumo Logic)
