Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop technical solutions for hazardous materials assessments, building abatement and deconstruction designs, including specifications and NMS specification development.
  • •Collaborate with local design teams using AutoCAD Civil 3D; supervise and direct drawing development and review hazardous materials designs.
  • •Prepare documentation and design deliverables including technical letters, memorandums, reports, drawings, and detailed design packages.
  • •Create project specifications, contract documents, construction packages, and construction cost estimates.
  • •Prepare regulatory submittal documents and collaborate with junior/intermediate staff for client, coworker, and sub-contractor/sub-consultant communications and management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental etc.).
  • •8+ years of related experience in hazardous materials and building abatement projects.
  • •Registered Professional Engineer with APEGA and/or NAPEG.
  • •Proficient technical writing experience for detailed design reports and regulatory document submissions.
  • •Valid driver’s license and proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel and Word).
