Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Take a technical lead role in expanding and maintaining effective implementation of Functional Safety (FuSi)
  • •Ensure uniform FuSi standards for all lighting products within the team and department with development responsibility
  • •Act as an independent, global responsible entity for reviews, audits and assessments to ensure project conformance with FuSi requirements
  • •Ensure FuSi requirements are met in development projects through holistic governance, including methodologies, processes, standard templates, tools and supporting measures
  • •Create requirements specifications and system/component specifications within the team, integrating FuSi requirements

Key Requirements

  • •Technical university degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • •Extensive knowledge of Functional Safety according to ISO 26262; IEC 61508 certification and FuSa experience are advantageous
  • •Several years of experience in Functional Safety, ideally as development engineer, software developer, or similar at OEM or Tier-1 suppliers
  • •Strong knowledge of development processes, especially software development according to Automotive SPICE (ASPICE); practical experience with Medini Analyze, DOORS, Doors-Next and IQ-FMEA
  • •Motivation to integrate new IT tools, macros and AI applications into daily workflows
