Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead containment and recovery actions with Operations and Quality, including supplier kick-off alignment and KPI monitoring through exit criteria and escalation to crisis/tiger teams when needed.
  • •Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for critical quality or delivery issues, and coordinate stakeholders to develop and implement improvement plans with clear communication checkpoints.
  • •Lead supplier site identification and prioritize development efforts based on risk, impact, and strategic commodity needs, including conducting supplier assessments and driving supplier development roadmaps.
  • •Manage structured improvement plan development, KPI tracking, and gate reviews to progress supplier capability maturity, including sustainment planning and re-engagement cycles.
  • •Support supplier transitions and work handovers with minimal disruption, including executing APQP for new product launches and manufacturing process technology tools and standardization (including FMEA and Control Plans).

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • •Ability to travel to supplier sites as needed, with a minimum of 50% of the time spent traveling.
