Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise and support strategic deals and customer engagements in collaboration with Solution Engineers and Observability Architects.
  • •Act as a company-recognized SME, building reference architectures and addressing competitive objections in the field.
  • •Create and curate technical training content (workshops, how-to guides, demo scripts) and establish a repeatable review cadence aligned to the roadmap.
  • •Architect, engineer, and maintain a live production environment to support demos, workshops, and POV infrastructure at scale.
  • •Mentor Senior and Staff Solution Engineers and Field Engineers, and represent Field Engineering in product planning cycles.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of related technical experience, including 2+ years in a Senior Field Engineer role (or equivalent).
  • •Experience as an SRE, Developer, Architect, and/or presales Solution Architect.
  • •Demonstrated SME-level depth across the Grafana Platform and broad working knowledge of the observability ecosystem (e.g., Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo).
  • •Comfort architecting modern applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IaC tools such as Terraform and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless, and Microservices.
  • •Proven experience building and delivering strategic technical content for technical audiences, including workshops, demos, decks, webinars, or videos.
