Key Responsibilities

  • •Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries, supporting schedules, and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
  • •Review and approve U.S. and Canadian payrolls and own payroll accounting, including benefits, bonuses, commission-related payments, and payroll liabilities.
  • •Own accounting for cash, prepaid and accrued expenses, fixed assets, operating expenses, and intercompany activity and other GL accounts.
  • •Own accounts payable and spend-management operations, including Ramp administration, vendor onboarding and master-data controls, expense classification, approvals, and 1099 support.
  • •Support audits and compliance (financial statement audit, 401(k) audit, income and franchise tax filings), strengthen controls/process documentation, and investigate variances ahead of close.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •4+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on ownership of month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • •Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and the ability to analyze financial statements and general ledger activity for completeness and accuracy.
  • •Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and well-supported accounting schedules.
  • •Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills with experience working with large datasets and building reliable supporting schedules.
