Job Summary

This role provides advanced technical expertise in prepress and IT-related areas to resolve complex incidents, design and implement automated workflows, and manage networked printing facilities. You’ll cultivate relationships with senior account stakeholders, lead projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across teams to optimize workflow, security, and system integration in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify, develop, and implement automated prepress workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors (e.g., using tools like ESKO Automation Engine or Heidelberg Prinergy).
•Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure within the printing facility, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
•Integrate prepress software and equipment (e.g., proofing devices, CTP imagers, digital presses) with the network, servers, and other business systems (e.g., MIS or ERP systems).
•Oversee the preparation and verification of digital files for printing, including color management (CMYK, Pantone), imposition, trapping, and quality control (preflighting).
•Provide high-level technical support for all prepress software, hardware, and network connectivity issues, minimizing downtime in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Requirements

•Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related discipline
•Typically 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in HP products in Customer base, account management, computer customer support, on-site customer support, Mission Critical, systems experience, or related field
