Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate AMS circuit designs from external design partners and ensure they meet specifications and contractual requirements.
  • •Perform pre-silicon design verification activities such as LVS comparisons, design rule checks (DRC/ERC), and circuit topology validation.
  • •Review flagged issues, analyze root cause, and determine whether design fixes are required.
  • •Develop, investigate, and enhance scripts and test cases to automate the IP design analysis workflow.
  • •Work with 3rd-party IP vendors and internal engineering teams to discuss results and resolve issues before silicon manufacturing.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 92,400 - 158,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Understand the hardware chip development lifecycle from specification to silicon manufacturing.
  • •Analyze electrical performance of Analog/Digital Mixed Signal (AMS) designs, including deep sub-micron CMOS integration into the chip system.
  • •Develop, investigate, and enhance scripts and test cases to automate the IP design analysis workflow.
  • •Use industry standard physical verification analysis tools to analyze hardware design components before final integration for chip manufacture.
  • •Basic experience with command line interface on UNIX or Linux, scripting, HSPICE, Verilog or VHDL, and interest in transistor-level circuits and/or layout.
