Partner with TikTok engineering leadership as an in-house AI transformation expert, delivering strategy grounded in market and frontier technology research. You’ll track AI coding/developer productivity trends, analyze R&D/engineering ecosystem performance using qualitative and quantitative methods, and establish metric frameworks to identify bottlenecks. Own ecosystem, competitive, and business-centric strategy design for AI coding initiatives, align cross-functional teams, and lead special projects to drive execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and research global AI industry trends, with focus on AI coding/developer productivity, to support R&D and engineering decision-making.
•Track AI technologies and real-world implementations, analyzing shifts in AI coding to balance growth, technical R&D, and cost considerations.
•Diagnose the R&D/engineering ecosystem using qualitative observations and quantitative deep-dives, establishing and monitoring metric frameworks.
•Design AI coding initiative organizational strategies and team structures, aligned across ecosystem, competition, and business priorities.
•Serve as strategic partner for relevant business units, coordinating complex, high-impact initiatives and delivering actionable strategies through execution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above.
