Join the Roland Berger AI Lab as a dual-purpose architect for secure, scalable GenAI systems. Translate business goals into enterprise and solution architectures, derive target architectures from reference patterns, and guide delivery teams from PoV to production. Own cross-cutting concerns such as identity, data, observability, reliability, and cost, leading design reviews, ADRs, and guardrails while partnering across backend, DevOps, AI, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Guide consulting and client teams in building future-proof target architectures for generative AI, including AI agent applications.
•Translate business goals into enterprise and solution architectures, deriving target architectures from reference patterns.
•Own cross-cutting concerns across identity, data, observability, reliability, and cost; lead design reviews, ADRs, and guardrails.
•Partner with backend, DevOps, AI engineers, and product teams to ensure agentic/LLM components, services, and data flows form a coherent platform.
•Support delivery teams from PoV to production by designing resilient, secure enterprise integration and data flows.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
•6+ years of experience architecting cloud software with a proven track record delivering production systems.
•Expertise in Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture, including clear artifacts and governance practices.
•Ability to derive a Target Architecture from reference designs and constraints.
•Strong understanding of non-functional requirements and guardrail implementation (security, observability, performance, reliability, and cost).
