Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and implement project QA/QC requirements aligned with company and client quality systems.
  • •Review and track Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans, and QA/QC documentation to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • •Monitor supplier-submitted quality records (inspection reports, material certificates, test records) before and after delivery; support NCR and corrective/preventive actions.
  • •Perform workshop visits with SMEs for First Piece Approval (FPA) or Pre-production Part Approval Process (PPAP) as required, including review of welding documentation (WPS, PQRs, welder qualifications, NDT reports).
  • •Support audits and maintain accurate, auditable quality records within document management systems; collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, Construction, and site QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical diploma or degree in structural engineering, mechanical engineering, welding technology, materials engineering, or a related field.
  • •5–10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within minerals, mining, or heavy industrial projects.
  • •Experience in steel fabrication and manufacturing workshop environments, including exposure to welding inspection and fabrication quality control.
  • •Familiarity with industry standards such as AWS, ASME, and ISO.
