Job Summary

Deliver engineering projects at the Duxford site by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, engineering standards, and EHS expectations. Support strategic CAPEX planning, manage site engineering systems and preventive maintenance initiatives, and plan/cost site-managed projects within budget. Maintain site drawings and technical information, provide analytics and automation updates, and help drive continuous improvement and Huntsman’s Zero Harm objectives.

Job Function: Construction, Civil & Site Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the responsible Project Engineer for the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and engineering standards.
•Deliver site engineering systems that support EHS compliance.
•Contribute to strategic investment planning and provide project support for CAPEX and small projects within budget.
•Collaborate on preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
•Plan and cost site-managed projects, maintain site drawings/technical information, and support timely documentation approvals.

Key Requirements

•Degree, HND, or HNC in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical).
•Experience in the chemical sector (pharma, biochemical, or manufacturing considered).
•Strong background in engineering functions and project support.
•Knowledge of regulatory and statutory engineering requirements.
•Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Projects), AutoCAD, and data intelligence solutions.
