Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform GTAW class A welds and fabricate metal components to required dimensions for building and assembly.
  • •Collaborate with lead welder to assess weld procedures, material types, and rod size for each project.
  • •Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations when procedural information is unavailable.
  • •Inspect completed work against drawings and ensure operations are complete per requirements.
  • •Support fabrication and build needs, including repair/assembly/install work and handling hazardous materials in approved ways.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •1+ month of experience welding or completion of a welding certificate from an accredited program within the last 2 years.
  • •Pass a weld test per AWS D17.1.
  • •Must be available for all shifts (day or night), overtime, and weekends as schedule varies.
  • •Ability to safely perform physical requirements including working at elevations up to 200 feet and in confined spaces.
