Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end, managing backlog prioritization by value/risk/dependency/strategic priority and defining crisp acceptance criteria.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering across money-movement correctness, rail reliability/down behaviour, failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
  • •Make and defend hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX with engineering, compliance, or ops stakeholders.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, privacy) and identify launch gates.
  • •Apply AI responsibly by defining allowed decisions, human-in-the-loop boundaries, evaluation approach, and ensuring AI-surfaced numbers trace to real records; ship behind flags per partner/regulatory gates.

Key Requirements

  • •Own a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgement and decisiveness under ambiguity.
  • •Demonstrate solid system design fundamentals (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, concurrency consistency).
  • •Have experience in a regulated/high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance (or strong ability to ramp fast).
  • •Hands-on AI product judgement with LLM-based products, including framing features as evaluable and understanding hallucination/drift/data gaps.
  • •Be comfortable working with and challenging technical design docs, sketching architecture and sequences as needed.
