Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day support of Honeywell Experion SCADA and associated control and reporting systems onsite.
  • •Provide day-to-day support of Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and MicroLogix PLC networks for automated process control.
  • •Coordinate and help manage the Honeywell support and parts contract.
  • •Identify, plan, and coordinate essential upgrades with the back-to-back Engineer Process Control to maintain plant availability.
  • •Review and improve Experion alarm/event generation and process control to improve operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Commitment to the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
  • •Hold a current manual ‘C’ class driver’s license.
  • •Demonstrated experience in control system design, commissioning, and maintenance support for a mineral or water processing plant.
  • •Experience with fault finding and programming of Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLC5 products and ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and MicroLogix controllers, including Flex I/O and Point I/O.
  • •Knowledge of reviewing process control functional design specifications and scope of works for projects.
