Key Responsibilities

  • •Research, develop, and optimize ultrasonic transducers and flow-measurement applications.
  • •Evaluate, specify, and further develop transducer designs, coupling concepts, and related accessories.
  • •Plan, conduct, and analyze lab and field tests to validate product performance and suitability for applications.
  • •Develop and apply theoretical models using simulation/engineering tools to describe transducer functionality and signal behavior.
  • •Analyze measurement data and uncertainties, assess operating limits, and define performance characteristics, while contributing to signal processing and metrology method improvements.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Completed master’s or PhD in Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable science/engineering field.
  • •Strong knowledge of wave physics and ultrasonic technology, including piezoelectric materials and signal characterization.
  • •Practical experience with metrology, signal processing, and uncertainty analysis.
  • •Strong experimental working style with analytical skills and experience in data evaluation.
  • •Proficiency with data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel, plus fluent German and English.
