Job Summary

Lead structural testing activities for military derivatives at Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). Key Responsibilities

•Act as Test Leader for new programs, overseeing global test planning, managing workload and workforce allocations, and achieving team KPIs.
•Lead execution and compliance for structural tests, ensuring adherence to specifications and live monitoring during execution.
•Define, control, and issue official test documentation including Test Plans, Test Results, and test specimen instrumentation records.
•Prepare actuator load test programs and support defining instrumentation for in-flight load measurements, including load determination formula derivation.
•Manage tooling manufacturing and mechanical assembly and perform structural integrity analyses with coordination of required inspections.

Key Requirements

•Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or related discipline.
•At least 5 years of experience in Structural Testing, Mechanical Assembly, or Engineering Test Management.
•Expertise in static, fatigue, damage tolerance, and dynamic testing, including test load definition and in-flight load measurement instrumentation.
•Experience defining and issuing test documentation (Test Plans, Test Results, and instrumentation records).
•Advanced English and Spanish (written and spoken) with strong communication for cross-functional alignment and proactive leadership.
