Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare monthly financial statements, including semiannual reviewed and annual financials, in accordance with IFRS for overseas branches.
  • •Coordinate centralized accounting functions and produce related MIS for MB overseas branches and their reporting needs.
  • •Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities by providing required information and support audit/regulatory processes.
  • •Perform comprehensive monthly variance analysis and prepare financial reports for senior management, including analysis of variances.
  • •Support implementation of new systems or upgrades by testing and reviewing product details and accounting entries; maintain accounting procedures and manage GL setup/mapping in Flexcube and OFSAA.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or ACCA with 4+ years of experience in financial reporting and accounting.
  • •Strong knowledge of IFRS and its application to financial reporting for overseas branches.
  • •Proficiency in computer accounting software and core banking systems.
  • •Ability to prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements, notes, and monthly management reports.
  • •Experience coordinating with external auditors and regulatory authorities, providing required information.
