Build agentic AI workflows that power critical decisions across venture investing and healthcare partnerships. Design and ship long-horizon systems that translate complex human judgment into scalable, self-learning software, using modern agent frameworks and production-grade harnesses. Partner with investment, talent, and global development teams to tackle research and human-agent interaction challenges, raise the technical bar, and share learnings across the broader community.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and ship AI systems that unlock healthtech venture knowledge and support deep research, people/organizational data analysis, and human-agent interaction.
•Build durable, long-horizon agents with context engineering and self-improving feedback loops; publish and share learnings (including open-source as appropriate).
•Raise the company’s technical bar by teaching what AI can do and contributing reusable patterns to core systems.
•Embed with global investment and development teams to create scalable, self-learning workflows that compound Redesign’s impact.
•Create global patient impact by supporting the sourcing, assessment, and enabling of founders building transformative healthcare technology.

Key Requirements

•10+ years in a senior technical role at a venture-backed startup, frontier AI lab, or investment firm (bonus for founding 0-1 or time inside VC).
•Expert in Python and/or TypeScript, with experience writing and reviewing millions of lines of production code.
•Proficient with modern agent frameworks (e.g., Lang*, Deep Agents, Anthropic Agent SDK) and shipping agentic systems in production.
•Built or materially modified agent harnesses (custom tools/CLIs, MCP servers, sandboxed execution, observability, self-learning loops) including stateful long-horizon systems beyond basic RAG.
•Reinvented workflows around AI, including building systems on coding agents like Claude Code and minimizing hand-written code.
