Job Function: Government Affairs & Public Policy

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist processing of all required project developments and construction permits through external government agencies, and follow-up on the reviews and comments of approving agencies.
  • •Ensure close coordination with project teams as required to secure permits from relevant external/internal entities such as Government Authorities across Abu Dhabi Emirate
  • •Coordinate with project teams as necessary to assure that all ongoing project development and construction projects are conducted in line with the licenses and permits obtained.
  • •Monitor related government laws and regulations affecting the development of the different projects and highlight any changes or amendments that might affect it
  • •Ensure that all required permits are obtained in a timely manner to prevent any delays in the project delivery schedule

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree, preferably in public policy, government, public administration
  • •Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • •Excellent oral and written English and Arabic
  • •Strong knowledge of construction-related policies and permits application processes
  • •Strong network of key Government entities representatives
