Job Summary

Own delivery of programme/project outcomes for Securities Services, aligned to the core strategy of Stabilise, Scale and Transform. Engage with clients and internal teams to balance scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks. Decompose complex business requirements into Epics and User Stories for technology teams, drive Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban/Lean), and support staffing, controls, and adoption of HSBC standards while coordinating with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Align client outcomes to target strategic models and support programme delivery across custody and fund administration-related product verticals.
•Drive and support programme delivery while balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget, and risks.
•Decompose complex business requirements into Epics and User Stories deliverable by technology teams through backlogs.
•Drive/support Agile methodologies within technology teams (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) aligned with HSBC transformation frameworks.
•Support staffing/resourcing, establish programme controls and procedures, and manage adoption of HSBC standards and change framework.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
•Strong project experience applying proven methodologies, standards, and tools across analysis, Business Requirements, User Acceptance Testing, and deployments.
•Knowledge of custody, fund administration, middle office trade processing, derivatives management, corporate actions, reconciliation, data provision, or cash management.
•Proven change management experience and ability to work independently with strong process re-engineering and problem-solving skills.
•Advanced skills using JIRA/Confluence, Clarity, MS Project, Visio, and MS Office.
