Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate client onboarding, including prospect pipeline management, proposal generation support, paperwork preparation, account opening, and establishing communication/client service plans.
  • •Answer incoming calls, manage client needs as appropriate, advise the Financial Advisor on actions taken, and may schedule appointments or conference rooms.
  • •Assemble meeting materials (paperwork and reports) and help organize seminars and client events, including developing client lists and creating presentation content.
  • •Maintain the Financial Advisor’s CRM system and support client relationship management through mailings, reporting, e-mail tracking, and implementing client service models.
  • •Initiate and complete transactions to service client accounts (correspondence, request fulfillment, special projects) and may enter security orders per Financial Advisor instructions. Allow for regulatory policy adherence and client confidentiality.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • •Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam plus Series 7 and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses, or willingness to study and obtain within 18 months of hire.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn Baird’s Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • •Understanding of compliance regulations and correspondence policies, including maintaining client confidentiality.
