Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and evaluate legislative and regulatory developments at regional and national levels to identify risks and shape company positions.
  • •Design and execute targeted advocacy campaigns using outreach, research, coalition-building, mobilization, and public relations tools.
  • •Build and maintain trusted relationships with policy makers, public officials, labor unions, industry associations, and other stakeholders across Italy.
  • •Represent Deliveroo in government consultations, public forums, and industry & union negotiations.
  • •Advise global leadership and cross-functional teams on Italian political dynamics to guide strategic business decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience leading external public policy engagements, regulatory advocacy, and strategic campaigns in an agency, in-house, or government setting in Italy.
  • •Deep understanding of Italian political processes, legislative dynamics, and public policy frameworks.
  • •Established relationships with Italian policy makers, regulatory bodies, trade associations, and other key political stakeholders.
  • •Fluency in English and Italian, with the ability to communicate complex policy positions clearly to diverse audiences.
  • •University degree in law, public policy, political science, or a related field.
