Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain ownership of production test activities and ensure production test flow, including hands-on troubleshooting of complex electrical issues.
  • •Own the full test lifecycle for assigned products—from early test planning through tester development, deployment, validation, and long-term sustainment.
  • •Define test requirements derived from system design and collaborate with design engineers to refine them.
  • •Develop new test stations from the ground up, with hands-on ownership of at least one core discipline (test software, electrical/instrumentation, or mechanical/fixture design) and integrate into the production line.
  • •Improve and sustain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream by optimizing test strategies for automation, cycle time, and coverage; analyze test data, author test plans and work instructions in MES, and provide detailed reports for defects and improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • •8+ years of relevant manufacturing test and product sustainment experience, including test requirements, test plan creation, and station/tester build plus production sustainment.
  • •Hands-on familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
  • •Experience with PCBA/electronic assembly testing with contract manufacturers and strong knowledge of PCBA testing standards and methods.
  • •Experience with electronics test equipment (e.g., power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers) and strong root cause analysis skills; must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
