Key Responsibilities

  • •Build software tools and construct scenarios to analyze system performance.
  • •Develop prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
  • •Collaborate with other engineers to plan and organize development of Starshield products.
  • •Own the full software lifecycle: requirements, prototyping, development, testing, rollout, and beyond.
  • •Support development and on-orbit operations as needed, including extended hours and weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, data science, or an engineering discipline.
  • •Software development experience in C++ or Python.
  • •Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • •Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed for critical path development and/or critical on-orbit operations.
  • •Understanding of version control, testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and monitoring.
