Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide transactional legal support to Live Nation affiliated management, artist development, and production companies.
  • •Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and related documents (e.g., management agreements, NDAs, consulting/independent contractor agreements, vendor/service provider agreements, collaboration agreements, talent agreements, licenses, venue agreements, clearance agreements, sponsorship agreements).
  • •Advise and provide timely guidance on business and legal matters to affiliated companies.
  • •Communicate and coordinate with affiliated companies and third-party attorneys to negotiate and finalize contracts.
  • •Update internal contract templates and manage the contract process with regular status updates to internal and affiliated stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years working as a lawyer with a major law firm and/or in-house legal department, including at least 3 years negotiating and drafting music and entertainment legal transactions and agreements.
  • •Required experience related to artist management, concert promotion, and/or live events.
  • •J.D. and membership in the California Bar in good standing, or eligibility to register as in-house counsel with the California Bar.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and strong business judgment, including the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • •Proficiency in document review, editing, and redlining, with strong organizational and time management skills.
