Lead reliability engineering for IIoT and connected-maintenance product growth by diagnosing mechanical and electronic failure modes and translating root causes into sensor selection, detection logic, and prototype pilots. Key Responsibilities

•Understand equipment, systems, and processes by reading mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/P&ID drawings and OEM service documentation.
•Lead failure-mode and root-cause analysis across mechanical and electronic failure mechanisms, using FMEA/FMECA outputs and data characterization.
•Research sensing and diagnostic technologies and select sensors/instrumentation; write technical specifications and define diagnosis/prognosis and health-scoring logic with alarm tradeoffs.
•Build, wire, and test prototypes and run pilots/PoCs from discovery through field-testing in lab, shop, and real equipment environments.
•Integrate validated sensing and detection into the IIoT product, standardize failure data, drive KPIs/deployment, and develop business cases with lifecycle cost reporting (TCO, NPV, ROI).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field), or equivalent practical experience.
•5+ years in reliability, maintenance, failure analysis, test, or equipment/instrumentation engineering.
•Working understanding of mechanical and electronic failure mechanisms and how they progress.
•Hands-on experience running FMEA/FMECA and performing root-cause analysis on physical equipment.
•Practical knowledge of sensors/instrumentation for industrial process and equipment measurement, including specifying and testing prototypes.
