Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, modify, develop, and implement C-17 MTS Database systems.
  • •Collect, record, and retrieve C-17 MTS data; extract and clean data to prepare for analysis and visualization.
  • •Maintain current databases and develop new training areas using COTS and proprietary software.
  • •Support and/or install software applications and operating systems; assist with database storage and retrieval systems.
  • •Serve as liaison for implementing new and updated Visual and RADAR databases into existing software baseline; coordinate with engineering and test teams and provide project status in meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s of Science degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; OR minimum of eight (8) years related experience.
  • •Minimum of four (4) years of related experience.
  • •Demonstrated success generating preliminary and detailed designs for enhancements or modifications using industry design concepts and basic technical writing skills.
  • •Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • •Working knowledge of COTS software programs such as Photoshop, Terra Vista, Global Mapper, ArcMap, and other global imaging software; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).
