Job Summary

Operate and maintain injection molding press equipment while following daily safety rules and policies. Troubleshoot mold process issues and quality defects, adjust processes as needed, and ensure the correct production orders run to specifications. Monitor machines throughout shifts using inspection/testing plans, maintain molds and auxiliary equipment, and perform machine start-ups/shutdowns and line clearances. Support continuous improvement activities (TPM, 5S, Six Sigma) and help train associates.

•Understand and implement all safety rules and policies daily.
•Troubleshoot mold process problems and quality defects; make necessary process changes.
•Ensure correct production orders run to the correct specifications on assigned machines and maintain standard cycle.
•Monitor assigned machines throughout the shift with periodic part checks and inspection/testing per the data acquisition plan.
•Maintain molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment; perform machine start-ups/shutdowns, line clearances, and assist inspectors/packers/material technicians as needed.
