Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare structural design calculations, engineering specifications, material take-offs (MTOs), and technical deliverables aligned to project requirements and applicable codes/standards.
  • •Support project planning, scheduling, and budget tracking to help deliver project milestones.
  • •Develop practical engineering solutions to technical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement across projects and processes.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the design and execution of energy infrastructure projects, including renewable energy and power generation facilities.
  • •Conduct site visits, inspections, and field assessments as required to support design development, construction, and commissioning activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a Structural Engineering specialization (M.Sc., M.Eng., or Ph.D. in Structural Engineering is an asset).
  • •Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the province of residence, or eligible for registration.
  • •5+ years of relevant civil and structural engineering design experience, preferably in energy/power generation/renewable or heavy infrastructure sectors.
  • •Experience analyzing and designing steel structures, concrete foundations, piling systems, and related civil/structural works.
  • •Experience with structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, S-FRAME, STAAD.Pro, or Dyna 6 (or similar).
